“Believe deep down in your heart that you're destined to do great things.” ~ Joe Paterno
Born in Omaha, Nebraska I moved to North Carolina in 1995 at the age of 9. I attended Ashbrook High School in Gastonia, North Carolina where I lettered in 3 Varsity Sports and was a member of the 2002 3AA State Championship Football team. After graduating from Ashbrook, with my football playing days over due to multiple injuries, I attended Western Carolina University.
During college I traveled up and down the East Coast playing competitive flag-football and attending multiple national and regional Health and Physical Education Conferences with some of the best HPE teachers across the country. Upon graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and Health in December of 2011 I returned to Western to begin work on my Masters Degree as a Graduate Assistant.
In the summer of 2013 I moved back to the Charlotte Metro area with my wife Kimberly. I spent half a year working as a substitute in CMS schools and at Charlotte Country Day School, and coached football as a Middle School and High School offensive assistant under the legendary Bruce Hardin at Providence Day School. Starting in March of 2014 I began working in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as a Health and Physical Education teacher and became the Head Football and Baseball Coach J.M. Alexander Middle School in Huntersville, NC.
After two successful years working at J.M. Alexander Middle School, I welcomed the wonderful opportunity to teach, coach, and share my faith as I accepted a position at St. David's School as Middle School Physical Education teacher and Head JV Football Coach starting the 2016-2017 School Year.
